How Twitch sub revenue actually works

Most Affiliates and Partners start on a 50/50 split of net sub revenue. The Partner Plus Program raises that to 60% (at 100 Plus Points) or 70% (at 300 Plus Points) on the first $100k per year — Plus Points roughly track your paid sub count over a rolling window. Prime subs pay out around the Tier 1 rate and cost viewers nothing beyond their Amazon Prime membership, so always remind Prime users to use their free sub.

These are estimates. Real payouts vary with regional pricing, taxes, and Twitch's net-revenue calculation — treat the output as a planning number, not an invoice.

How many subs do I need to make minimum wage?

At a 50% split and $5.99 Tier 1 subs, roughly 420 subs ≈ $1,250/month. Most streamers layer bits, ads, sponsorships and direct tips on top of subs.

When does Twitch pay out?

Around 15 days after month end, once your balance passes the $50 minimum ($100 for wire transfers).
